Oh, and for people who weren't there - the control code for that was written from scratch.  It's an arduino connected to the LED board, driving everything via a matrix of bits.  He's not just playing with the sign controller and inputting text or anything - it was actually a decent amount of hacking involved.  Good job TJ :)
