You missed my humor where I read pdf's with strings (and .doc files) since 
I use pine for email and it's kind of a pain when people send those with 
useful information in them.

I didn't know so much malware came from PDFs. On a blog or two, the 
commenters get mad when people drop PDF links because they say their 
computer can't actually open them, it just kills their browser.

Personally, I've always used foxit reader because I thought Acrobat was 
slow. But once I looked at Acrobat reader last, it really wasn't that 
slow (I was thinking of doing a video comparison of the two.)
