And grow. And grow. And grow. Until it's all theirs. Competition all 
bought, then a monopoly.

The only competitors for high speed internet to home at the time is really 
cable modem vs fios vs *DSL. The wireless services are too restricted. Sat 
is latent as all hell. Perhaps in the future, but Sprint + Cox are in bed 
together. Verizon landline and Verizon wireless. AT&T is running wireless 
and does DSL and I believe CATV in some areas. You're really only looking 
at a handful of competitors still.

Maybe then, they will stop trying to sell me analog telephone pairs. I 
can't imagine how much Cox pays to send me so much paperwork and call me 
so much.
