IRC and SSH exists on Windows Mobile, iPhone, BlackBerry and the Android 
machines :-) So you're pretty much covered there. There was SSH on the 
SideKick but I think I heard it disappeared from the store in the later 
days.

So the only difference is how well they work, and how much it will cost!
