Theresa,

I live in Arlington (Clarendon) and there are a couple of nice hotels that
are reasonably priced in the area.  I'm right off the metro and it takes
about 20-30 minutes on the metro to get to Adam's Morgan / Woodley Park.  Or
you can take a cab, and it's a 5 minute cab ride.  I would offer up my couch
but it's already spoken for that weekend.  However, if you are interested,
and don't mind staying outside of the city, I can help you find a hotel.
Also, you may want to check Pentagon City / Crystal City.  I used to stay at
a Marriott in Crystal City occasionally that was less than $150 a night and
it was a very nice hotel.
