I would recommend having them pass on a resume and forward it on. Your
recommendation helps but I would need something I could pass on to the
company. Like many on this list I get wind of possible new positions well
before we start advertising.

Hmp. There are so many... and these are people I would recommend.
#1 - not sure of the degree, but has tech skills when it comes to building
out systems, testing, configuration. Should have no problem managing a
network (sysadmin). Not sure what software development he did towards the
end. Windows, Linux, BSD. Very proficient with PC stuff (and they were
dealing with servers, SATA / SAS iSCSI target stuff). Was testing stuff for
QA.
#2 - I'm pretty sure he has a CS degree, and know he was doing some
development. In addition to that, QA and similar skills to the above.
Probably had experience with bigger stuff due to previous job (Sun / IBM
stuff perhaps).
#3 - Masters degree I believe. Probably CS background. Looking for a QA
managerial role. Has been doing QA stuff for us. Used to do development.
#4 - Finance/Economics degree. Has computer skills but not totally an IT
nerd. Is looking to get into gov't contracting I believe. Has quite a varied
backround so he is pretty versitile.
