[757labs] The Labs

Things are coming along with the labs, and we're coming up on the one 
month aniversary of the rent check.

With that in mind, I'd like to propose and discuss random things.

First, until the door access system is up and running, perhaps we should 
do conventional keys to the early members? Not too big a deal, and once 
the electronic card access stuff is rolling we can move to this.

Second, I guess we need to write down the rules in the wiki. I've been 
thinking about it, and I think I have ideas. Mostly just things to 
eliminate disputes over tool use. Is the idea still no one claims any 
space? Do we want to set out the rules that no space is private at the 
lab? Once things are running longer term project stuff has to go upstairs? 
I dunno about this part. One of those bakers bread rack things with the 
trays might be useful for people to put smaller projects away?

Probably time to put in writing the official stuff of the lab.

Also, I was thinking about DC power distribution. Perhaps we could build 
boxes that have switches and spring clips (think audio speaker 
connections), that share a PC power supply?

Any ideas on early events? Lightning talks? Random geek meets? Since I'm 
starting to mess with the AMX stuff again (trying to remember all that I 
forgot), perhaps doing a small talk on that. (This will be after 
shmoocon). Maybe Arcade Game monitor and board repair talk. I'm sure 
others have other stuff. Together we could come up with a bunch?
