As much as I would love to help you because of your extremely interesting 
scenario, I can't. We do not provide schematics of our products,
especially those products we still produce and sell since that's 
effectively a How-To-Make-Our-Product if we did.
What I would suggest is contacting our customer service at 1-800-223-9436, 
inform them you have this N-1000-IV that seems defective and youwould like 
to send it in for repair or replacement, they may be able to do that for 
you.

I guess I'll call when I get the info in front of me from the board, 
unless someone else wants to (just to make sure they wont repair it for 
free or $50 or something).
