Cleaning lady hooked us up with a machine and basically all the crud of
gone from the floors. But there is still this milky white left over stuff
that has to be scrubbed off the floor. So that is the new fun. There was
LOTS of dirt, and because of that it was hard to really get clean water to
scrub with.
In other news...
I just sealed a deal for $225 for a box of AMX parts. This is two 5.5"
color touchscreens that you mount in the wall (or in a cute box on the
wall in our case). Also, 5 plates (like light switches) that feature 8
push buttons to control whatever. These plates have a full computer on the
back that talk on the AMX bus. This is GOOD news. And what's more, the box
also includes a plate that has a LCD screen with push buttons that mounts
in a lightswitch hole, so it has like 6 or 8 buttons and you can program
it to do whatever (labels change, etc).
Still need AMX CV10 panels, though. Hmmm I setup bid sniper to snipe on
one, but the power went out here. Doh, it missed the auction. I would of
had it.
Today the plasma mount and projector mount should be at my door, along
with some other bits. I'm going to grab them before the FIRST meeting, in
case we get out of the FIRST meeting early, maybe I'll look at mounting
the mount for the plasma.
No pics yet of the fridge.
One florescent light is left to replace the cord on.
4 Cyclades units (8 port network power controllers) are on their way.
After the AMX purchases and a few more cables, I'm going to hold way back
on buying more lab stuff and coast a while working to get things going.
Still haven't put in the dox with Cox to move the intarwebs. I need to
put together the 2nd rack upstairs to accomodate the hardware.
Next storage visit I'm going to get the APC UPS for the rack, wooden
footing for rack, and a dry erase board, and chair.
Supposed to buy 5 chairs frmo that lady this week too, maybe tomorrow
during lunch.
