[757labs] Updates!

Last night I witnessed a car trying to turn around in the construction 
area in front of the space. Classic! Jody or Geoff said they've seen the 
same thing. Amusing.

I googled and found a company with some AMX touchscreens up for sale. I 
made offer. They accepted. So I have two 10.4" touschreens with video 
input, and one without, on the way. Total cost shipped was $200, and I'm 
cool with that.

Going to hit storage and get the rest of the bits for the Sparcstation 5 
that will boot the Cray. I guess we can move to get Solaris on it, and all 
the bits on it. I've got someone selling me the hard drives for the Cray 
($40 + shipping). Looking forward to bringing it online!

Will also try to find the SquareD Power Logic monitor. It must be in the 
flight case in storage.


So upcoming event ideas:

Super Happy Dev House type thing (Erik)

Microcontroller open hackathon thing

Cray Day (once other parts are in place. It should be more of a final push 
to get it going).



Stuff still out there to be done:
Streaming video/audio solution (have ideas on this, need execution? Will 
do another post).

Hang whiteboards, more whiteboards, etc. Almost did this last night but 
went home a bit early.

Also I got more drink in the fridge (Grape drink, diet coke, coke, dr 
pepper, sprite, diet green tea). I think the price works out to 30 cents a 
can or so. Might want to put a cup in the fridge for funds to help pay for 
the next run.

I'm going to work on setting up an ING Direct account for the moneys to 
pay the rents.

Anyone else have anything exciting?

Guess we should start blogging what's going on.

Random quotes on the LED scroller are funny, btw.
