I've got the hardwares to collect frequency, ThD %, and voltage for each
phase. Unfortunately there is no easy way to really collect the
consumption without adding current transformers on the 3 main wires going
into the panel. Can't do that in conduit. ***MIGHT*** be able to get away
with split-core CT's in the panel but dunno. The 100:5 (100 amp) ones I
have now (which are solid, not split core, which means you have to feed
the wire through them you can't attach without unhooking the wire) are
pretty darn large in physical size.
I looked for it last night but didn't see it. I'll look again tonite.
I bought two converters that go RS-485 to RS-232. The intention was the
access control hardware, but one of them will be useful to connect to the
serial port on the power monitor. It talks a protocol called MODBUS, which
is really really popular in the industrial controls world (like the AMX,
there are cool touchscreens and processors and other stuff that talk it.)
For reference, the power monitor is a Square D Powerlogic series 2000.
