The reason for the question is the florescent ballasts could add more 
noise to the data signal on the video lines. I did some work to avoid 
them, but it's kind of impossible. When I tested it (from conf table 
back to matrix switch, thru the switch, back to projector) at 1024x768 it 
worked, but I did see a little bit of noise for a split second.

Fridge? Is it that loud? Once it is full, it should run less? If there is 
a couch in front of it, it would deaden the sound.

That fridge is a symbol of true American quality. That ain't yo mommas 
Kenmore. Need to AMX the light in it though :-)
